Inari Camping & Resort is the perfect base for northern adventures – from fishing trips and hikes to Sámi culture and moments of tranquillity. Hire a canoe, rowing boat or motorboat from us and set off to enjoy the waters of Lake Inari. Experience the glow of the Northern Lights, go skiing or snowshoeing through snow-covered landscapes, try your hand at ice fishing on the clear ice of Lake Inari, or hop on a snowmobile and head out into the heart of the Arctic wilderness. A dog sledge ride or a visit to a reindeer farm also add to the winter experience. Here you can enjoy the snow, nature and tranquillity – and experience the authentic magic of Lapland on the shores of Lake Inari.

Boat hire

Whether you’re in a canoe, a rowing boat or a Buster motorboat – set off on your own to Lake Inari for a spot of fishing or a day out.

Saunas available for booking

A wood-fired barrel sauna with a panoramic window by the lake, or an electric sauna in the service building. Both are available for private hire.

Camping

The Juutua Trail starts just outside the resort, and the route to the Pielpajärvi wilderness church begins about three kilometres away.

Culture

The Siida Sámi Museum and the Sajos Sámi Cultural Centre are within walking distance of the site.

Snowshoeing

Hire snowshoes from us and you can explore the snow-covered landscape and enjoy Inari’s unique natural surroundings in peace and at your own pace. Experience the tranquillity of the snow-covered forests, the crisp frosty air and the beauty of winter in a whole new way.

Ice fishing

Experience an authentic winter’s day on the ice of Lake Inari. Drill a hole, cast your line and enjoy the silence – with a bit of luck, you might even catch something.

Dog-sledding

Let our enthusiastic dogs guide you through the winter landscapes of Lapland. A dog-sled ride is a thrilling and unforgettable way to experience the Arctic wilderness.

Visit to a reindeer farm

Discover reindeer and authentic Lapland life. On a visit to a reindeer farm, you’ll hear stories about reindeer herding and get to experience northern traditions up close. You’ll also get to feed the reindeer and perhaps even stroke them.
